"In the year 1922, two hundred Railwaymen were killed and nearly three thousand were injured in Great Britain alone, through misadventure, negligence or misconduct in connection with the movement of trains or vehicles. This means an average of eight accidents daily, Sundays included. It shows a bad state of things, doesn't it?"
